History

In 1995, Taiwan's EPA started to cooperate with NCKU for the purpose of developing analytical techniques for the detection of PCDD/Fs in environmental and biological samples.

By the end of 1998, several analytical methods had been well-established for monitoring ambient air, soil, sediment, food, human serum, and milk samples.

In 1999, Research Center of Environmental Trace Toxic Substances was established.
